Sunset can be a special time in the bush.

Its often peaceful.  Animals like wombats & spiny ant eaters come out of hiding.  Lyrebird calls echo through the valleys & gorges.

Amazing colours light up the rock faces as the sun dips down to the horizon.  Clouds glow and sometimes the air even seems to glow.

If its overcast it can get very gloomy & mysterious.

By sunset I'm usually driving home making the long trek home after a day in the bush.

These photos including photos taken while camping out or if the day has been longer than expected & I'm still walking out.
