Track Notes:

Comments:

Mt Solitary is the large, solitary mesa that dominates the views of the Jamison Valley.  The mountain is surrounded by steep cliffs.

There is a walking track across Mt Solitary that provides some fantastic views.   The track uses The Col (eastern end) and Koorowall Knife Edge (western end), 2 of the better known passes, to allow access to Mt Solitary.

The Mt Solitary Traverse is a long walk but well worth the effort.  While the walk can be completed in 1 day many people take 2.

There are several camping sites on Mt Solitary, the most popular being at Chinamans Cave.

Water can not be relied on so carry your own.
