To get from the cliff tops near the Wolgan Pinnacle to the next peninsula to the west it is necessary to cross a gorge .

The way into the gorge is through a very deep, very narrow slot canyon.  The canyon is mostly dry but the water must run deep & fast during heavy rainfall.

High cliffs, deep canyons & amazing pagodas are the hallmark of the Gardens of Stone National Park.
