Track Notes:

Comments:

At 1091 metres, Mt Jenolan is one of the highest peaks in the area.  The climb to the summit is very steep, ascending 900 metres in about 3.4 kilometres.

Not many people visit Mt Jenolan although it is on one of the '3 Peaks' routes.

Isolation often means animals are not so wary of humans.  Or perhaps it is just the size they can grow when undisturbed.

I saw a huge Lace Monitor  on the slopes of Mt Jenolan.  It was more than 2 metres long and it totally ignored me.
