Heliolater Point

Map: LPI Yerranderie 89294N GR: 298 320 Track Notes: Comments: Helioater Point protrudes from the western cliffs of Mt Barrallier and overlooks Shamash Deep. It is marked on the Kowmung map but not on the LPI Yerranderie map. There is a large rock platform at Heliolater Point that provides excellent views across Shamash Deep to the Boyd Range as well as Shamash Point and the Temple of the Shining Orb. Thick heath makes any approch to Heliolater Point extremely difficult but it can be done. Passes through the cliff line just north of Heliolater Point may allow an easier approach along the base of the cliffs. Regardless, the views are worth the effort. A 'Sun God' theme appears to have been used when naming some places on Mt Barrallier:
