Lamington National Park in south east Queensland is part of the Central Eastern Rainforests Reserve World Heritage Area.

The park has an extensive system of walking tracks, wonderful scenery & a number of different plant communities, including rainforests, eucalypt forests, vine forests & montane heath.

Lamington is a volcanic landscape with high peaks, long ridges, deep gorges, creeks & waterfalls - quite spectacular.

A really interesting collection of birds and animals live in the thick bush.
